Cornwall Public Inquiry

The Victims

Scott Burgess

Alleged Victim Apparently

Felt Uncomfortable At Inquiry

Cornwall News AM 1220

October 31, 2006 — An alleged victim who has already testified at the Cornwall Public Inquiry apparently felt like he did something wrong while on the stand. Scott Burgess gave his testimony earlier this month. Today, his former teacher Dawn Raymond told her story about two students who came forward to her over 20 years ago. She says Burgess felt like he had done something wrong and was very uncomfortable during cross-examination by the Children's Aid Society. CAS lawyer Peter Chisholm says he did not intend to make Burgess feel that way.
