Greatest Cornwallite Event Continues...

September 04, 2008 — Discussion in Cornwall is broadening as listeners submit their suggestions on who is our city's greatest citizen from the past. Nominations at this point include early NHL'er Newsy Lalonde, former priest Rudy Villeneuve, and former Canada Day organizer Norm Lalonde. Speaking to John Bolton on Cornwall Today, Ray called in to nominate his home-grown hero, Perry Dunlop. (Hear audio clip below) You can nominate someone too - it could be a friend or a relative or somebody famous. The person named "The Greatest Cornwallite of the Past" will be honoured with a special memoriam at the new wing of the Cornwall Community Hospital.
