Perry Dunlop Appeal To Be Heard This Month

Cornwall News AM 1220

April 18, 2008 — A controversial figure at the Cornwall Public Inquiry will be back in the spotlight this month. A date was set today when a court will hear Perry Dunlop's appeal of his civil contempt conviction. A Toronto court official confirms to the AM 1220 News Center the matter will be heard on April 29th, though its not clear whether Dunlop will be in the courtroom. The former city cop credited with uncovering child sex abuse allegations in Cornwall is serving a six month jail sentence for failing to testify at the inquiry.
