Emotional Daughter Of Perry Dunlop Speaks At Meeting

May 02, 2008 — A first hand account from Perry Dunlop's youngest daughter after she saw him in custody. Tears, anger and frustration could be seen across the face of 16-year-old Monica Dunlop as she shared how she felt about her father being in jail. Around 100 supporters gathered in Cornwall last night to hear Monica speak. She says she never thought she would not have the ability to reach out and touch her father but it happened. (Hear audio clip below) Perry's wife, Helen, detailed her frustrations with the Cornwall Public Inquiry. Perry Dunlop is the former city police officer who gave a copy of an alleged sexual abuse victim's statement to the Children's Aid Society in 1993. He has been criticized for his actions and is currently behind bars for refusing to testify at the inquiry.
