Bernard Menard 

Father Bernard Menard is an Oblate priest who spent several years working with the L’ Arche community in Glen Roy from 1979 to 1986.  (Glen Roy is within the Roman Catholic Diocese of Alexandria-Cornwall.)   

Menard was a friend of the Brisson family whose son  Benoit Brisson was sexually abused by Father Father Gilles Deslaurier.  Menard assisted the Brissons deal with the allegations when Benoit disclosed the abuse in 1986.
