Jena Luc Leblanc

Jean Luc Leblanc

Jean Luc Leblanc, a convicted pedophile, was a former Transport Canada Training Institute employee.  Leblanc was convicted for sex offences against children in 1986. In 2001 he was charged through the Cornwall Ontario Project Truth sex abuse probe .  At that time Leblanc was working as a school bus driver. He was convicted after pleading guilty.  In 2008, after serving time since 2002,  he was denied parole.  He has said that he only regretted his actions because it meant he could no longer be around children. He believes that "pedophilia is a love for children." He is considered a dangerous risk to re-offend.

19 January 2008:  Leblanc remains in prison; Only man convicted under Project Truth would likely re-offend if released: board
