Historical Sex Abuse Victim Reads Emotional Impact Statement

Cornwall News AM 1220

December 07, 2006 — The victim in a historical sexual abuse case from 1981 involving another Cornwall man will have to wait until the new year to find out what will happen to the suspect. Jamie Marsolais gave a brief emotional impact statement this morning in Cornwall court where he said he hopes his childhood isn't worth a slap on the wrist. Last August, 45 year old James Lewis pleaded guilty to indecent assault and gross indecency. Lewis is expected to be sentenced in February.
