Cornwall Public Inquiry

Commissioner Appears Frustrated With Repetitious Questions-Inquiry

Local news - AM 1220

January 23, 2009 — The Commissioner at the Cornwall Public Inquiry seems frustrated. It appears Normand Glaude is losing his patience when it comes to the repetition of questions. Crown attorney Shelley Hallett has spent the past four days testifying about Project Truth prosecutions. She is facing numerous questions about her interaction with the O.P.P officers who investigated the cases. At one point, Glaude told a lawyer she was not bringing out new information. (Hear audio clip below) Hallett's testimony continues at 9:30 this morning.

[Transcript of audio clip:   I don't want to be overly mean -- I know I am usually -- but there's not one little bit of evidence that you've brought out in the last ten minutes that we haven't already heard.”]
