Inquiry Loses Lawyers

April 23, 2008 — If you feel the Cornwall Public Inquiry has gone on for a long time, you are not alone. Two inquiry lawyers had to go back to their regular jobs with the Federal Ministry of Justice because the inquiry has passed the two year mark. Lead Commission Counsel Peter Engelmann says two other lawyers are also leaving but there is nothing unusual about this, "it is simply the passage of time". Engelmann tells AM 1220 News you always hate to lose valuable people. (Hear audio clip below) Karen Jones has joined the legal team and another lawyer may be hired in the near future.
