Cornwall Public Inquiry

The good guy has been made to look like the bad guy

Cornwall Standard Freeholder

Letters to the Editor

13 February 2009

Just so folks won't think the Cornwall Public Inquiry was a waste of time and money, perhaps some of the players should be recognized. For instance some of the judges and lawyers could be elevated to the Supreme Court, to wit McKinnon, Glaude, Pelletier, Chadwick, Plantana, Cipriano, Neville, Henein, Manson, Daley, Adams, MacDonald and Leduc, with Narozniak as the new chief justice. Perchance the poor priests accused by many, but convicted by none could be made bishops and the former bishop a cardinal. The police should all get promotions or at least a substantial raise in pay. The school boards and Children's Aid Society must be feted and honoured for its relentless pursuit of justice and truth.

However, the quintessential troublemaker, and whistleblowing antihero Dunlop should be tarred and feathered and sued, with the proceeds of his estate used to fund an annual victory celebration of the local casuists and sodomites.

Carson, you kinda remind me of those 3 Monkeys, "Hear no Evil", "See no Evil", "Speak no Evil". As far as your so-called "Anti-Hero" Perry Dunlop is concerned, I was wondering if perhaps you might be trying to clear your own guilty conscience and/or other for not doing much about it yourselves or what? Perry Dunlop has been the lead "Stand-Up" MAN in trying like he did to help, when it appeared that a lot of misguided, so-called "human beings" all around him appeared to turn a "blind eye" and they too became like those 3 MONKEYS only worse, the monkeys didn't know better!! As for the support he got from the coppers in the years gone by, "I'd have to say thanks, but no thanks.", walk away and leave them to their own misery!! From where I stand Carson,I would suggest that you keep a close eye on all those "big shots" you're worshipping because if any one of them stopped real fast, instead of a "brown nose" you appear to have, you'd end up with "Ring Around The Collar!!!!)" That is if you catch my drift.

(grimreaper_47) Carson is Perry Dunlop's brother in law he was just making a statement kind of a parody since the inquiry was a parody of what an inquiry should be. Carson is one of Perry Dunlop's strongest supporters he hates what this inquiry and the old boys club did to Perry. Basically what he did was take a stab at the whole establishment through his parody sinbce we all know that if he wrote what he really wanted to say it would never have been printed.

Your Comment: Dear Carson Chislholm:
I have been talking with several people and it would appear that after priding myself on my intellect, out-side of the box thinking and also that I have a rather warped sense of humour, I feel rather stupid. Let me say that my rant above about you Carson was about as far in the opposite wrong direction that I could have gone, it would appear that after all the yellin and screamin that I have done and the humour and the wielding of of my subtle sword, I must think I'm the only one with a bit of talent in that direction. I feel so embarrassed and ashamed in the way in which I spoke of you and I couldn't have been more wrong even if I had tried and I can't even brush it off to "old age" or "senilety" or "Alheimers" or whatever, how about if I put it where it belongs. It belongs to my own stupidity and also for forgetting that my sense of sarcasm, subtleness and warped sense of humour got misplaced when I wrote what I did in Post#3 AND I also forgot that others have it as well but there is NO excuse for me. To You Carson, I humbley apologize and I hope that you would forgive me for what I so wrongly wrote and for all of the others that are here in this forum "Letter To The Editor" and who are on this thread from day to day, my apologies to ALL of you as I was wrong in what I wrote and I'll try to read things closer and use my brain a little more for a change before I open my big mouth to stick those size 10's right in as far as they go. So once again Carson and everybody, I AM TRULY SORRY and for those who have talked with me, I will get back to you all and "JB"(I didn't know if you wanted me to print your name so, JB it is until I hear further!), thank you ever so much, I especially appreciate you taking your time to help guide me in the right direction. And I almost forgot about you taking the time to help out too Dodger, I appreciate and thank you for your direction and for taking the time to help put me on the right track. Sincerely yours, David Witzel

Yes, excellent David. Way to go!!  I was pleased to have met you David. I believe you have many very valuable experiences and I believe you have desperateky tried to "fight the fight". Your efforts have not gone un-noticed over the years. I also have nothing to hide or to be afraid of.
Most of what I say in these "posts" are opinions based on my experiences, education and knowledge. Most of what I say can be supported with documentations, research and other references, etc.

It seems to me, your "posts" are based on similar attributes as mine.

Also, it appears to me that, at times, your style in asserting or defending your position is a little different than mine.

So what, different styles are equally effective. The principle "pearheads" and antagonists know who I am.

Regards,

James P. Bateman

James and Dodger, I thank you both so very much for your help, guidance and forgiveness, I only hope that Carson and his family and Perry Dunlop and his family will be as understanding and forgiving as both of you. Thank you again and I will be in touch. Boy, I still can't believe that I could be so stupid but, I guess I'm kinda good at that too as Post#3 will definitely show, eh?

I certainly do not claim to speak for anyone other than myself, but, I think Perry, Helen, Carson et al will be very happy that someone went to the lengths you did in defending them, despite the circumstances.

It's even a stronger statement, when it is evident you were, at the time, not fully informed about who Carson was/is. In fact, I'm sure you would agree, we all learn from our experiences; i.e.) mistakes, successes, failures, etc., etc. In my opinion, one of the greatest things we can do, is to take responsibility and accountability for our shortcomings and be prepared to accept the relative consequences. As I see it, you have been open to receive feedback from people you may believe to be trustworthy.

You David, have proven a few things today. Despite what any antagonists attempt to do, you took responsibility immediately and risked receiving any consequence from anyone. Furthermore, you made amends; you didn't deny, make excuses, blame others, etc.

As I see it, you have provided an excellent example for "us" to learn from and feel good about. Thank-you.
