Gervais to talk at CTC breakfast

Cornwall Standard Freeholder

05 April 2009
Marc Gervais, a successful author and former police officer, also knows the pain of abuse.

Gervais, one of the most popular professional speakers in Quebec, will be the special guest at the Children's Treatment  Centre Bike-A-Thon Plus Kick- Off Breakfast which will be held at the Cornwall Civic Complex on April 16.

"The Kick-Off Breakfast sponsored by Farley Windows Inc., the Standard-Freeholder, BMO Bank of Montreal and BMO Nesbitt Burns will mark the official launching of the Bike-A-Thon Plus Campaign" said Peter Asquini, Chair of the event.

Gervais was himself sexually abused and, after decades of dealing with the consequences, eventually, found his way back to a balanced life.

The Bike-A-Thon Plus will be held on Saturday, May 23. For further information, call the Children's Treatment Centre at 613-933-4400.
