Gord Bryan 

Gord Bryan is an Archdeacon in the Roman Catholic diocese of Alexandria-Cornwall. He was employed as bursar for the diocese when the $32,000 diocesan pay-off was orchestrated on Father Charles MacDonald’s behalf.

Archdeacon Gord Bryan testified at the Cornwall Public Inquiry 23, 24 July 2008. 

06 January 1935: born  in Montreal – moved to Cornwall as a very young child

Married - father of five - son-in-law is D'Arcy Dupuis, an officer with the Cornwall Police Service

1971:  Program coordinator at Diocesan Centre

1973-2006:  Director of the Diocesan Centre

 1975:  Certificate in Theology, Saint Paul U, Ottawa

 

1978-1982: Assistant Bursar

 

1980:  certificate in Bioethics, St. Mark U, Vancouver, B.C.

 

Late 70s or early 80s:  Certificate in Financial Management Services

 

1982-2005:  Diocesan Bursar

 

1989-1991 - member Cornwall Police Services Board

 

16 December 1996:  Ordained as a deacon in the Roman Catholic Church

 

- Has served as a deacon at St. John Bosco, Precious Blood, St. Francis de Sales and Blessed Sacrament churches in Cornwall

 

- Worked as a chaplain at St. Francis de Sales, Immaculate Conception, St. Columban’s East, St. John Bosco and St.Anne’s schools.
