Past OPP Interview Still Angers Inquiry Victim

Cornwall News AM 1220

November 17, 2006 — An interview with an OPP officer during a sex abuse investigation still angers a victim at the Cornwall Public

Inquiry. Albert Roy was on the stand today and talked about an interview with the OPP where he felt intimidated and got no help from a Cornwall police officer present he thought could have helped him. Roy says to this day he still does not know whey he even had to talk to the OPP since he had already told his story to Cornwall police. Roy says he was abused by two probation officers in the late 1970's.

He says he felt intimidated and just by the way the room was set up he had a bad feeling. He is expected back on the stand in two weeks to talk about his dealings with Perry Dunlop. Dunlop is the former city cop credited with uncovering allegations of sex abuse in the area.
